About
BODY + MIND
As a neuroscience major turned massage therapist I have an interest in working with individuals who suffer from chronic pain, chronic pain disorders, anxiety, neurodegenerative disorders which affect musculoskeletal function, and anyone in need of deep relaxation and care. I use gentle, repetitive movement to retrain muscle memory and teach your tight muscles to be relaxed. My techniques are great for those looking to release chronic tension in a way that’s long-term and easy to maintain, as well as strengthening neural pathways to help with delayed movement and muscle weakness.
I’ve learned through experience and education that when it comes to the body and mind you can’t address one without the other. The health of one impacts the health of its counterpart, and so I strive to give my clients ultimate relaxation for the mind and body while also clinically assessing and treating their issues. Massage is not a substitute for medicinal healthcare, however, it can provide a great complementary treatment to a variety of issues both physical and mental.
In my spare time I spend time with my 6 dogs, cat, and partner of 7 years. I also love to read and enjoy the outdoors! I’m always up for learning new perspectives and trying new things.
